Lighthouse Christmas 2018 — Gaza Lighthouse School

Merry Christmas from all the staff and students at the Lighthouse School! Preparations for the holiday began last month as students made Christmas cards for their sponsors. Cards were sent this year to the US, UK, Israel, Holland, Brazil and Portugal.

Christmas cookies were baked, crafts were made and decorations filled the halls and classrooms.

The elementary and kindergarten students shared a Christmas meal of chicken, rice and yogurt along with cookies for dessert and enjoyed a fun afternoon of singing and dancing.

The Lighthouse staff prepared gift bags for the last day before Christmas break and each student in the kindergarten and elementary school received some candy and a small gift for Christmas. What a great joy to celebrate the holiday in Gaza with the Lighthouse staff and students!
